Heather Ensslen, our Director of Children’s Ministries, joined the CMBC ministry team in October 2007 (she began attending CMBC as a 2nd grader). She is responsible for developing all aspects of our ministry to children from birth through 6th grade. Heather seeks to partner with parents and ministry volunteers in shepherding CMBC’s children.
Heather has experience both in children’s ministry and public school teaching, having spent a year in Baltimore teaching 3rd grade. She graduated from Cedarville University with a B.A. in Special Education, a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, and a minor in Bible. Heather met husband Michael Ensslen while they were students at Cedarville, and they were married in 2006. She enjoys reading, hiking, letterboxing, baking, and traveling.
